The Centre For Development Studies (CDS) invites applications from PhD scholars to participate in its first PhD Colloquium, 2024. The colloquium offers a platform for PhD scholars across Indian universities to present their work and receive focused feedback and inputs. We welcome studies in the broad area of development from all social science disciplines. Candidates from marginalised identities are especially encouraged to apply. Conference Format : 40-45 minutes for each paper presentation.

Eligibility : Doctoral students registered in Indian universities.

Travel support & accommodation : 3rd AC fares for regular express trains by the shortest route (excluding Rajadhani, Duronto, Vande Bharat, and other premium or dynamic pricing trains) will be reimbursed for selected presenters. Accommodation to the selected presenters will be provided for the period of 19th-23rd of March, 2025.
