The overall theme of the conference is "Development and Change". Researches, professionals and other experts including those from outside India, are invited to contribute conceptual and/or empirical papers in the conference. Contributions are welcome from other regions and countries besides India, and from all social science disciplines. papers written with an interdisciplinary approach are particularly welcome. Papers submitted should not exceed 8000 words (including tables and appendices). All papers should also include an abstract of about 500 words. The abstracts will be compiled into a booklet which will be distributed among conference participants. selected papers after peer-review and revision, will be considered for publication in subsequent issues of the IASSI Quarterly : Contributions to Indian Social Science. Authors must ensure origional submissions.
