Department of Economics, UGC Centre for Advance Studies (CAS-II) and Centre for research in Economic Change, Punjabi University, Patiala, organizes a two-day International Conference on the theme "Fifty Years of Economic Development in Punjab" on MArch 25-26, 2017. Punjab has remained a role model of economic development and turned laggard during the era of economic reforms. This conference intends to record the history of fifty years (1966-2016) of development of the state by covering all sectors of the economy. Research papers, between 7000-8000 words (Microsoft Word), involving historical and comparative perspective will be given preference. Accepted paper writers will be provided boarding and lodging facilities only.
